Laura R. Gailey practices law with her husband, R. Michael Gailey, Jr., at The Gailey Law Firm, LLC.

Laura is a lifelong resident of Eatonton, Georgia.  She graduated from Agnes Scott College with a B.A. in 1994 and received her J.D. from Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University, in 1997. After law school, Laura worked as the Law Clerk for all of the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judges for the counties of Putnam, Morgan, Greene, Baldwin, Jones, Wilkes, Hancock and Jasper.

Laura founded The Gailey Law Firm, LLC in 2002 and her husband and law partner, R. Michael Gailey,  Jr., joined her soon thereafter in 2003. 

Laura currently serves as a Board Member with the Eatonton-Putnam Arts Foundation, Inc. and the Jasper-Putnam Training Center, Inc.  She is a past Board Member and Vice-Chairman of the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce.  She is the local counsel for Putnam Development Authority and the Lake Oconee Development Authority.  Michael Gailey and Laura Gailey were awarded the Business People of the Year in Putnam County in 2010.

Laura is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Court of Appeals of Georgia, Supreme Court of Georgia, United States District Court – Middle Georgia, Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Bar Association, and the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia.

Areas of Concentration:  General practice of law with emphasis on Real Estate, Business, Wills and Probate, Personal Injury, Adoptions and Juvenile Law.
